FEB 31st PROJECT UGANDA

We are VERY excited to introduce our latest collection from sustainability champions Feb31st

The top layers of the Project Uganda frames are made from bark.

They work with a village in Uganda that shave the tree bark, beat and hammer it until it becomes a hessian like material which they can then sell as a commodity.

The trees are wrapped to heal and regenerate with each tree being used 5 times before it is retired.

The incredible colours are designed by local schoolchildren who flick paint and press handprints onto them meaning that each frame is truly unique.

Trading this bark as a commodity has enabled the village to thrive and consequently funded the building of a school and medical facility.
